For my Tradigital class, we did this a while back and I just got around to fixing it up more. We had to each take an opinion on SOPA/PIPA and do a Time Cover for it. I went with a more extreme version of my opinion, which I will not go into depth on, in order to create a more attention-grabbing illustration.
I also decided to harken to Ray Bradbury’s Fahrenheit 451, a novel about a future in which books are illegal because the government controls all information that people receive, and if anyone is suspected of owning books, basically, firemen come and burn down their house. (When the law was first passed there were massive public book burnings.)
The art school experience is all the more complete now that I’ve done a political work.
