We’ll put it this way: News isn’t exactly your typical 9-5 job. While many of our editors on the east coast are working (safely) from home today, a select group of editors braved Hurricane Sandy’s wrath to bring you the news — including TIME’s managing editor, Rick Stengel, who is pictured above working from our New York office this afternoon.
